Nino Schurter torna su strada!

Nino Schurter al Giro di Romandia 2014

Dopo il debutto del 2014, anno in cui aveva preso parte al Giro di Romandia, al Giro di Svizzera e ad altre gare su strada con la maglia del Team GreenEdge (ne avevamo parlato qui), N1NO ci riprova al GP Gippingen, che si disputerà domani in Svizzera.
E' stato proprio lui ad annunciarlo sui suoi canali social:

Nino Schurter, questa volta correrà con la maglia della nazionale e a quanto pare schierato al via con la stessa maglia ci sarà anche Mathias Fluckiger, il vincitore della prima prova di Coppa del mondo Xc ad Albstadt.

Per Fluckiger, tuttavia, non si tratta dell'esordio, infatti a inizio stagione ha già corso già il Giro di Romandia con puro scopo allenante.
E a quanto pare la strategia ha funzionato...

Riding the @tourderomandie with the @swisscyclingteam team, has been great experience for me. I've learned so much and there are still so many things to improve and tune in order to ride in the road races. I've to say I drove not 100% of my possibilities in the peloton, what caused me a lot of stress. Since Thursday I had also some stomach disease, that caused me some problems and consequently loss of energy as well. But in general I've to say, I'm very satisfied with my performance and this first big experience in a @uci_cycling World Tour road race field. I wrote down notes and now I know what I can improve in order to make it better and better the next time. Is still a long way, but the good things is that every day you learn new things. Overall result 45th position. It was a great honor to ride with the Swiss Cycling Team, and for that I would like to thanks all the crew and the riders for the great days together. Thanks for the opportunity and a big up to all the friends and people who supported me by cheering on the roads and with a loads of messages. Nino, invece, torna su strada dopo 5 anni di "digiuno", o meglio, utilizza la specialissima in allenamento, ma non ha più attaccato il numero.

Vedremo cosa combineranno i due bikers in mezzo agli stradisti.
Ah, ovviamente non facciamo il tifo per loro ?
E chissà se ci sarà anche Mathieu Van der Poel? Sarebbe una bella sfida...
